Field Trip FlyerField Trips at Landrum’s Homestead & Village

Bring history to life with an unforgettable field trip to Landrum’s Homestead & Village! Nestled on 30 beautiful acres in Laurel, Mississippi, our living history museum transforms classroom lessons into hands-on adventures. Students will explore more than 85 historic buildings, discover the traditions of early Mississippi, and experience history through engaging demonstrations and interactive activities they’ll remember long after the school day ends.

From scenic wagon rides and a working gristmill to homemade biscuit demonstrations, gem mining, the Mystery House & Maze, nature trails, and our optional Laser Shooting Gallery, every visit is designed to inspire curiosity while reinforcing lessons in Mississippi history, American history, science, STEM, agriculture, and early pioneer life.
